Window Cleaning

Window Cleaning

Q: How do you get the windows so clean?

A: Practice.

Q: How often should I have my windows cleaned?

A: Most of our clients have their windows cleaned inside and out at least once a year. Many clean them twice a year. Some of our cleaning are on a monthly basis or even weekly basis.

Q: What do you use on the windows?

A: We use the time-honored method: A squeegee and soap and water. Razor blades are occasionally used to remove paint and stubborn spots. After squeegeeing, the edges of the windows are wiped with a cloth to remove the final traces of water.

Q: How do you clean the screens?

A: Screens are brushed clean. If they are particularily dirty, we will soap them up, and scrub and wipe them clean.

Q: Will you be careful of the rugs and curtains?

A: Of course. We will cover your floors where necessary. We care for your property as if it were our own.

Q: Is there any thing I need to do before you come? Do I need to take down the blinds?

A: If there are any breakable items near the windows that you'd rather we didn't touch, by all means, move them before we arrive.  Otherwise, we will take care of it all for you. If there is furniture or other items in our way, we can move them. Most drapes and blinds do not need to be removed to clean the windows.

Q: What if it rains?

A: We can work in light rain an would prefer to keep our appointments, if possible. If it is rainy or overcast on the day of our appointment, we will call to see what you would like to do.

Q: Will the rain wreck my clean windows?

A: As Grandma used to say, "It rains better on clean windows"

Dirty windows do seem to get dirtier when it rains because the rain disturbs the dust that has settled on them. Rain does not affect clean windows because they don't have dust on them.

In fact, I offer a "rain-proof guarantee". If it rains within 3 days of your window cleaning, and you are unhappy with how your windows look after the rain -- we will return to fix any spots free of charge.

Eavestrough Cleaning

Eavestrough Cleaning

Q: How do you clean the eavestroughs?

A: We climb up and remove excess debris by hand and then we hose out the remainder. We make certain that all downspouts are flowing freely and can alert you to any problems with your gutters or roof that we see while we are up there.

Q: How often should I have my eavestroughs cleaned?

A: Your eaves should be cleaned at least once a year.

Q: Will your ladders damage my siding or gutters?

A: No, we use ladder stabilizers that rest on your roof when doing eaves and have rubber padding for protection when on siding

Pressure Washing

Pressure Washing

Q: Can pressure washing my house damage it or my landscape?

A: Yes, that’s why Heights Residential employees are trained on the appropriate pressure, tools, and technique for each surface. It is very important that the correct spray nozzle and pressure are used.

Christmas Lights Installation

Q: Will your company remove my lights as well as install them?

A: Absolutely. Our company is dedicated to providing you with a beautiful Holiday display, as well as taking all of the burden out of shopping for necessary materials, installing lights, and removing the lights after the holiday season. We will remove all of the lights and materials that have been used for your display, and carefully put them away in storage bins for next year.

Q: How do you calculate your labor estimate?

A: There are several factors that contribute to the estimated price of a job. These factors include the complexity of the display, electrical constraints, and of course the length of time necessary to complete the job. We take our time on each and every job, and pride ourselves on providing you with the most professional displays in town.

Q: What happens if I have a problem with my lights?

A: Our qualified installers are trained to take all of the necessary measures to prevent any problems with your lights. However, if you do have a problem with your display, we have full time service technicians to correct the problem as soon as possible.

Q: Why should I choose you to decorate my house instead of another company or individual?

A: There are many reasons why you should choose us for your decorating needs. The top two are experience and customer service.
